Lake Chelan Community Hospital is proud to be a national leader in information technology. We have a visionary staff, always looking for medical advances. Our Imaging Center has cutting-edge digital radiology, CT and MRI capabilities, and we will soon be one of the first hospitals in the country — if not the first — to have telelaboratory, whereby our laboratory technicians can capture a photograph of molecular cells, download the image to our pathologist and expeditiously diagnose a condition. This is exciting for our staff and the community, and we’re striving to be the regional healthcare facility of choice!
At Lake Chelan Community Hospital, we recognize that patients and families have a choice of where to receive care, and it is that recognition that drives our high standards of quality. In an exceedingly competitive market, we also understand the value of the environment in which you chose to receive care. The projected growth of the community is certain, and the community will expect an increasing demand for high-quality emergency room services, trauma care, birthing center, and more specialized care closer to home. We must also be prepared for the aging of the current population — which coupled with the influx of new retirees and baby-boomers — results in a greater percentage of residents age 55 and over who require preventative care and wellness options to maintain their healthy lifestyles. We are in the process of partnering with the community to develop a long-range plan to address the healthcare needs of the future.
