Welcome to the Lake Chelan Valley and the Lake Chelan Hospital District,

Local medical services have expanded significantly as the valley’s population has boomed in recent years, and more change is in the air. Lake Chelan’s healthcare community is committed to providing the highest level of medical care for its residents and visitors, assuring you can receive excellent and comprehensive healthcare without ever leaving the valley.

Lake Chelan has more than 200 professionally-trained healthcare providers offering medical, surgical, nursing, home health and hospice, dental, optical, emergency medical, extended care, counseling, and health and wellness services in the valley. There are two medical clinics offering comprehensive healthcare, each staffed with family physicians. A variety of specialists, ranging from orthopedics to plastic surgery, also serve our valley. Our Emergency Medical Services operates a full ambulance service.

The Lake Chelan Community Hospital (LCCH) is located in Chelan. Our facility offers a full range of medical services, including a newly expanded surgical center, in-patient care, childbirth services, diagnostic imaging, emergency room, and community wellness programs. It is an exciting time for healthcare at Lake Chelan. As the valley’s population continues to grow and change, we are preparing for future healthcare needs. We are pleased to announce plans for a major renovation of our valley’s hospital. Plans include:

• A major remodel of the Lake Chelan Community Hospital. This projected 33 million dollar project will include an expanded diagnostic center, a new out-patient procedural care unit, remodel of all patient rooms, expanded and improved medical technology, and a wellness center
• This renovation will allow valley clinicians to move to the hospital to create a “one stop shopping” medical center with expanded and covered parking
• Addition of several specialists to the medical staff

This project will be funded by the voters throughout the hospital district that includes all the communities from the Columbia River on the east to the Stehekin valley on the west.
