Addiction does not recognize gender, race, age, religion or social status. There is no typical alcholic or drug addict. Because we recognize the unique situation of each of our patients, we custom design each patient's treatment plan, including type of counseling and length of stay. Within our therapeutic community, you will become an active participant in your own evolution, all the while receiving compassion, understanding and respect.

Co-occuring disorders
At The Sanctuary at The Lake, our specially trained staff focus on underlying issues and conditions that worsen and perpetuate addictive behaviors. We offer one-to-one counseling and full support throughout your stay. All treatment is overseen and monitored by our physicians.

Group Therapy
Working with other patients in large, as well as gender-specific, groups is an integral part of treatment at The Sanctuary at The Lake. This type of therapy helps patients build authentic relationships based on trust. It encourage a sense of community and reminds each patient that he or she is not alone in the recovery process.
